hey.. i like your card. they're pretty cool. I'm leaning more toward your catfish script. although I would use a different font for your email address and stuff. it gets a little hard to read when it's that small. The arcade is a cool looking font but i don't think it fits you and your style that your are developing.

with the catfish font card, i really like the brush strokes. i think you can clean up some of the splatters around the text and maybe work with it a little more. i'm not too crazy about the dotted line touching the text and then stops. i think your should either continue the dotted line all the way down to the bottom brush stroke or make sure there is equal amount of space between the text and the brush stroke ...if that made any sense. anyways..i'm not a graphic designer but that's my 2 cents or whatever.

here are a couple sites you should check out. look at how they work with type. i hope ya like them.

I like the splatter on the second one maybe even a little more would be nice. I like the brush marks as well. I would maybe make the font a little bigger or more space between the letters because it isn't that easy to read. I really like the front illustration, good job.

Hi Sandra

Hah, I'm also using the backside of my business cards to show an illustration! Actually, I have every business card with a different illustration on the back. That way I always have a small portfolio in my purse, people who pick a card get to play (everyone likes that), and I know which ones they like. Something to consider...

Reg. the font: I think the dotted font is too modern and too cool for your illustration style. The second card with the script font is better. However, I think I've seen this font before in Textprocessing programs as standard? Have you tried a strictly clean design font such as Century gothic? It's the one I use, but feel free to use it too if you like.

I like your idea of the brushstrokes and dots, but I wonder if you have a bit much going on. Being from Switzerland, I always go for "less is more". What if you just use a clean line instead? Hm... Worth playing around with I guess...

Have fun! Feel free to shoot me an email if you get stuck.

Happy Potato Greetings!
